Meet the Maker

Hi,  I am Kate the Maker and Owner behind By Emily Kate

I run a small home based business in Ipswich, Queensland. By Emily Kate began in 2020. I wanted a change in careers that gave me a balance between by family life and work, also to help with my own Mental Health.  I have a wonderful supportive partner Damon and I am mum to three boys Ashley (10), and twins, Sam and Elliot (9). I have always been creative and it was just a natural progression to follow my artistic dream. Secretly I feel like I'm living my childhood dream that I had 30 years ago creating in my family garage.

Making earring for me is about making a pair of wearable art that when a person puts them on it gives them joy and confidence. I honestly get so excited when I see someone wearing something I have created.
